I need to go home, so I can't check this, or prove it for
anything... BUT, I ran a few jobs today, after updating
and am seeing wavy lines where a straight line was
supposed to be. My output file isn't showing it (Job
Console), neither is my enroute file (.rou). But, it's
definitely doing it on the table.. (Multicam 3000). I
greased my machine, and checked everything, just to make
sure it wasn't the machine (was working fine before the
update).

EJ??

Again, I need to go home, but can explain more in the
morning or take pictures.. Send output file.. I dunno..
Whatever you need.

So far, I have completely uninstalled/reinstalled Enroute
(Newly updated version). I checked my origins on the
table to confirm that my table isn't at fault. I ran a
job this morning (very small) and it worked right.. I
will try some other stuff here in the next hour and see
what the outcome is.. This is really weird.

Oh, also.. Maybe someone else can try this: Create a box
about 48" x 48". Create a relief of 1/2" @ 200
resolution. Press "OK" and let it create the relief.
Then, click on it and delete it (the whole square). Does
your system hang for a bit while it's trying to erase it?
Mine will stop responding for upwards of a few minutes..

I tried your example and had no difficulty although the relief did take conciderably longer to build with the newest version ( 3-4 seconds). deleting the relief was instant. Haven't noticed any wavy lines that weren't suposed to be.   my 2 cents

It ended up being fixed with a complete wipe/reload of the
program. The weird thing is, Tinman, is that when I would
see my output file, all lines/contours looked perfect in
Job Console and Job Editor. No waviness to it at all. So, I
am assuming it was some sort of communication error in the
driver?! That's all I can sum that up to.. Thanks for the
checkup!

I still have problems on the 3D side of things, but that's
another topic.. Thank you kmiller for checking that out for
me. I MAY have to just do a complete system reload to get
that side of things working.
